Forum Thread: What is your favorite thing to preserve?

I think my favorite to prepare is homemade chicken soup in the winter time. It leaves such a warm, inviting fragrance throughout the entire house. I say winter time because it is just toooooo darn hot here in summer to take the time to make homemade chicken soup from scratch and then can it... Uggg!
